As summer comes to a close, I thought I’d share some of my highlights of the season with you.  Enjoy!

1.  Best Day Trip

This summer I took a day trip to the mountains- so fun!!

2.  Best Photo Booth

Magnolia Photo Booth had a free booth set up at the Renegade Craft Fair, so of course I took advantage!

3.  Best Craft Project

More often than not, my craft projects don’t turn out quite like I’d hope.  But this was an exception!  I found this awesome camera strap tutorial on  Design Love Fest.  I was so happy with the way mine turned out.

4.  Best Spectacle

The Olympics!!!  I love it so much! Go USA!

5.  Best Piece of Information

This summer I learned that pickle weed is another name for ice plant.  Fancy that.

6.  Best Purchase

That’s right, you’re looking at the Mighty Ducks 1 and 2 combo pack on DVD.  Heck yes!

7.  Best Photo Props

Thank you Unicorn Crafts for making and sharing your awesome photo props at the Renegade Craft Fair.  I enjoyed them thoroughly.

8.  Best Summer Event

All through the month of July, 80′s movies played at The Camp on Friday nights.  When I found out North Shore was one of them, I just had to go!  It was so cool sitting on the rooftop, eating free popcorn, watching this cheesy surf flick I grew up with.

9.  Best Unicorn

Need I say more?

10.  Best App

I may not have an iPhone, but I know a good app when I see one.  Me + cats + lasers = WIN!
