DIY Photo Display Tutorial
My photography will be on display at an upcoming event, so I decided to get crafty and make a photo display. I thought I’d share this tutorial so you can make one too! I’d love for you to send me a picture of how yours turns out!
Supplies needed:
1. Pegboard. I got mine from Home Depot.
2. Spray Paint. The color I chose was “Robin Egg” from Michaels.
3. Christmas ornament hangers or paper clips.
4. A push pin.
5. All of your favorite photos.
6. Scissors and yarn.
Now that you’ve got your supplies, let’s get started!
Step 1: Spray paint your pegboard and let it dry.
Step 2: Take a long piece of yarn. I chose hot pink because it really stands out against the turquoise pegboard. Weave the yarn through the edges of your board. It should look something like this:
Step 3: Take the push pin and poke holes in all of your pictures. You will later put the ornament hooks or paper clips through those holes to hang your pictures.
Step 4: Make a nice layout for your photos. In hindsight, I would have printed all my pictures out at the same size and orientation. It would’ve been much easier to make a layout had I done that.
Step 5: Hang up all your photos.
Now if you’re feeling really crafty, there’s more you can add! I made 2 of these photo displays and connected them with a banner I made. Fun, huh?!
