A Kinfolk-Inspired Shoot
I draw so much inspiration from Kinfolk Magazine. So much so that Brandon from Novel Hill Studio and I put together our own Kinfolk-inspired shoot. We went to one of my not-so-secret locations that has a big fire ring. I had these great plans of shooting people making s’mores and hanging out by the fire. After hiking a mile to the fire pit, the park ranger kicked us out before we had a chance to shoot anything. So, we hiked a mile back to our starting point and improvised the rest. And while things may not have gone as planned or expected, I’m happy with the outcome. Moral of the story? Don’t wear a hot pink shirt while trespassing. Maybe I’ll wear hot orange next time, it’s much more discreet ![]()
Sneak Peek of a Kinfolk Inspired Shoot
Have you heard of Kinfolk? It’s pretty much the raddest magazine ever. At some point, I hope to see my photography grace its pages. Brandon, of Novel Hill Studio and I put our heads together and came up with a little Kinfolk-inspired shoot of our own. I’m probably sharing more pictures than I should for a preview, but I couldn’t help myself. Full post coming soon.
